We planted these on September 13th and finally at the end of March we got our first harvest. The plants were huge and really beautiful themselves not to mention the beans tasted amazing. The girls enjoyed them fresh from the garden, which was nice. They actually yield very little once you pull them from the pod and shell them, but we were able to do a few fun things: flatbread, fava bruschetta, and fava bean ravioli. We’d grow them again. It hard to find them in the market, so I always feel like its nice to have stuff like that in the backyard.
