Classic Champagne Cocktail

Story

Sheila whipped up this stylish bubbly cocktail and used delicious handcrafted bitters from a company out of Brooklyn called Hella Bitter. We used the Aromatic version for our cocktail. Paired perfectly with our herb and vermouth spiked oysters.

Ingredients

Serves 6-8
one bottle of bubbly (such as Piper Heidsieck)
one sugar cube per glass
several drops of bitters (such as Hella Bitters)
lemon peel (for garnish)

Recipe

Add a sugar cube to each glass along with a few drops of bitters. Let the sugar cube steep in the bitters while you pop open some bubbly. Divide champagne among the glasses and finish with a piece of lemon peel. Cheers!
